IC Design Center
Architecture to verification — analog, mixed-signal, digital and MCU design co-located with the fabs that will make them.
Overview
The IC Design Center is the intellectual starting point of the platform: the team that turns system requirements into silicon. Its charter spans four product families — analog ICs for precision signal processing and power management, mixed-signal devices with data converters and interfaces, digital logic and ASICs, and microcontrollers for embedded and automotive control.
Co-location with the wafer fab is the deliberate architectural choice. Designers work against the frontend’s process design kits from day one, so parasitics, thermal behavior and process variation are modeled with the fab’s own data instead of generic assumptions. When silicon comes back from the fab, characterization engineers sit close enough to the line to correlate a device mismatch with a process split within hours.
The design flow is industrial, not artisanal: architecture and specification, simulation across corners, full-custom and standard-cell layout, then verification — DRC, LVS, ERC and formal equivalence — before any tape-out package is handed to the fab. Reusable IP (ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, regulators, MCU subsystems) shortens every new derivative, and the same team supports silicon validation through to production release.

Capabilities
Precision amplifiers, data converters and power-management ICs built on BCD and CMOS platforms.
Devices that combine analog blocks, digital logic and interfaces into single-chip solutions.
Logic devices and application-specific ICs synthesized and verified on the frontend node window.
Embedded controllers for automotive, industrial and IoT applications with automotive-grade flows.
DRC, LVS, ERC and formal equivalence executed to foundry-grade sign-off criteria.
Process design kits maintained jointly with the fab, plus silicon characterization feedback.
How it works
System requirements are translated into a block-level architecture and specification.
Circuits are simulated across process, voltage and temperature corners before layout.
Full-custom analog layout and digital place-and-route produce the physical design.
DRC, LVS, ERC and formal checks certify the design against the PDK.
The sign-off package is delivered to the frontend fab with full documentation.
First silicon is characterized and correlated back to design and process data.
Why it matters
In most of the semiconductor world, designers and fabs exchange emails across time zones. Here, the design center, the wafer line and the assembly floor are the same company on the same campus. A BCD power stage can be revised, re-simulated and re-masked against the fab’s live process data — and that loop is RifSol’s core structural advantage.
Where it goes
MCUs, power-management and interface ICs engineered to automotive expectations.
Control and driver ICs for inverters, storage and smart-grid equipment.
Mixed-signal and digital devices for sensors, actuators and connected systems.
From engineering programs to production partnership — the IC Design Center team is one message away.
